All TAU offices will suspend transactions on 10 June (Danding Cojuangco Day), 12 June (Independence Day), and 13 June (non-working day in lieu of the 79th Commencement Exercises on 6 June). Please note that the Midterm Enrolment schedule for undergraduate students will proceed ONLY on 9 June (Monday), 11 June (Wednesday), and 16 June (Monday). Students must complete enrolment processes on these three days only.

Urgent concerns may be directed via email, but physical offices will remain closed on the specified holidays. We appreciate your cooperation in planning transactions accordingly and ensuring seamless midterm enrolment and other activities on the designated dates.

Affirming its theme “Pagpapanday at Pagyabong: TAU’s Champions forging Paths for an Inclusive and Resilient Future,” Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU) marked another turning point in its almost eight-decade history as it held the second day of its 79th Commencement Exercises at the Gilberto O. Teodoro Multipurpose Center, 6 June. 

The ceremonies were divided into two sessions: the morning for the College of Arts and Sciences (CAS) and College of Business and Management (CBM), and the afternoon for the College of Agriculture and Forestry (CAF) and the College of Veterinary Medicine (CVM). Faculty, non-teaching staff, and families gathered in full regalia to culminate the long years of students’ pre-professional and personal growth.

Among the opening highlights was the ceremonial entrance of TAU’s education support personnel, acknowledging their vital role in sustaining the institution’s academic services and student support systems. Immediately following was the delivery of the opening remarks by Dr. Arnold R. Lorenzo, Vice President for Administration and Finance (VPFA), during the morning program, and Dr. Leonell P. Lijauco, Vice President for Planning and Quality Assurance(VPPQA), in the afternoon. Both high-ranking officials underscored the value of social mobility through academic advancement and lauded the graduates for their patience and perseverance in dealing with challenges throughout their journey at the University.

CHRONICLES | Empowering Public Service through Innovation: TAU contributes to Nationwide Frontline Service Inspection

Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU) has made a significant contribution to the nationwide frontline service inspection by embracing digital tools, designating dedicated Public Officers of the Day, and enhancing transparency in line with government mandates. These initiatives show the University's steadfast dedication to enhancing operational effectiveness and service delivery for all stakeholders.

The Committee on Anti-Red Tape (ARTA) at TAU under the leadership of its Chairperson, Dr. Arnold R. Lorenzo (Vice President for Finance and Administration); Vice Chairperson, Dr. Leonell P. Lijauco (Vice President for Planning and Quality Assurance); and Focal Person, Ms. Yolanda F. Juan (Chief Administrative Officer for Administration) started this with an announcement of the inspection during its flag-raising Ceremony on 13 May and posting of publication material in front of the TAU main gate.  Also, a meeting of the Committee on Anti-Red Tape (CART) was conducted on 14 May to discuss schedule and mode of inspection of frontline services.

𝐂𝐀𝐏𝐓𝐔𝐑𝐄𝐃 𝐈𝐍 𝐋𝐄𝐍𝐒 | Gathering its faculty members, staff, and officials for the flag-raising ceremony led by the Non-Academic Staff Association (NASA) officials, the Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU) convenes in front of the Learning Resource Center (LRC) Building, 9 June.

Subsequent to the the singing of patriotic hymns, the Admission and Registration Services (ARS) through Ms. Gina V. Duran, Registrar, commends the TAU community for adhering to the recognition and graduation guidelines which contributed to the success of 79th Commencement Exercises on 5-6 June.

Ms. Duran also announces the schedule of ongoing enrollment for the undergraduate programs and the start of classes on 16 June and confirms the enrollment for graduate programs which will start on 16-20 June while the start of its classes is set on 21 June.

Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU) joins all Tarlaqueños in celebrating the birth anniversary of Ambassador Eduardo “Danding” M. Cojuangco, Jr., a visionary and compassionate leader whose contributions continue to inspire generations.

To continue its support for graduating students and boost the University’s employment rate, the Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU), through the efforts of the Student Placement Office (SPO), conducted a Pre-Employment Orientation Seminar (PEOS) at the Gilberto O. Teodoro Multipurpose Center from 29-30 May and 2 June.

The participants from six colleges of the University learned about resume writing techniques, interview preparation, and cultivating a culture of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) through interactive sessions with TAU faculty members and staff: Dr. Rene G. Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU) Sports Development Office (SDO) started another tradition after hosting its first-ever Athletes' Night at the TAU Covered Court, 30 May. Marking a significant moment in recognizing athletic achievement, the event centered on the theme "TAU's Finest: Recognizing the Dedication and Triumphs of our Student Athletes." 

This inaugural celebration transformed the court into a hub of pride and excitement, bringing together athletes, coaches, trainers, university officials, and supporters to honor a year of exceptional dedication and success across numerous sporting disciplines.

The pinnacle of the evening was the formal awarding of certificates to student-athletes and their coaches and trainers who proudly represented TAU with distinction in regional, national, and even international competitions throughout the year. This ceremony served as a powerful testament to the athletes' hard work and the crucial guidance provided by their support network.

CAPTURED IN LENS | Twenty-eight Presidents of State Universities and Colleges (SUCs), Officers In-Charge (OIC), and their assistants, under the leadership of the Commission on Higher Education (CHEd) Commissioner Dr. Desiderio R. Apag III convene for a forum and training-workshop hosted by the Jose Rizal Memorial State University (JRMSU) and co-hosted by Cotabato State University (CotSU) in Dapitan City, Zamboanga del Norte, 9-10 June.

Anchored on the theme “28 Strong Leaders Committed To One Vision, One Goal. Forging a Unified Vision for Philippine Higher Education: The First SUCs Executive Forum 2025,” the gathering urges SUC leaders to engage in discussions on SUC board protocols, updated legal and procedural requirements, addressing legal concerns, familiarizing themselves on the 20 revised rules on Administrative Cases issued by the Civil Service (RRACS) and CHED, digitalization in CHED processing of data, SUC leveling, monitoring of Land Use Development and Infrastructure Plan (LUDIP), strategic directions of SUCs in attaining their goals, and highlighting the balance of strong leadership and mental awareness for SUC leaders.
