A first for Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU), the Civil Service Commission (CSC) Region III recognized the University’s Human Resource Management Office (HRMO) for its exemplary management of the workforce during the CSC Anniversary Celebration in the City of San Fernando, Pampanga on 11 September.

TAU was awarded the Program to Institutionalize Meritocracy and Excellence in Human Resource Management (PRIME-HRM) - Bronze for the years 2017 and 2018. Honored for reaching level 2 in HRM core systems maturity, TAU-HRMO demonstrated quality service in processes involving recruitment, selection, and placement; learning and development; performance management; and rewards and recognition.

𝐂𝐀𝐏𝐓𝐔𝐑𝐄𝐃 𝐈𝐍 𝐋𝐄𝐍𝐒 | Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU) in collaboration with the Regulus International Consultancy Agency (RICA) facilitates an Immigration and Professional Consultancy Training, 31 August. Sessions are scheduled for the alumni in the morning and graduating students in the afternoon at the Agritourism Hostel Function Hall.

The training is set up to help ensure participants gain basic skills for international internships and work engagements, most of which are inside Sweden and are supported by an international internship program offered through RICA. It incorporates procedures for visa processing, legal documentation, and career growth that result in a holistic approach towards professional development internationally.

Guided by experts from the Don Mariano Marcos Memorial State University (DMMMSU) Sericulture Research and Development Institute (SRDI), the participants learn how to select the site, prepare the planting materials, and manage culture for mulberry production on the first day. For the second day, the CAF students and several non-teaching staff take part in the hands-on mulberry plantation establishment at two preselected vegetation areas within TAU.
